What is life Coaching?

Life coaching is about going on a journey. As your life coach you can think of me as a guide who will help you get from where you are in life to where you want to get to.

The word ‘coaching’ literally means to transport someone from one place to another. So, like a bus or coach, a Life Coach drives their client to the destination the client chooses. Coaching is normally a conversation, or a series of conversations, that a client has with their Life Coach.

The first step is to find a Life Coach that you feel comfortable with. It’s important to be open and honest during your life coaching sessions.

After you find a Life Coach you work together to identify your personal and professional goals. Then once your goals are set, my job as your Life Coach is to work with you to develop an actionable plan that will help you achieve your goals.

Do I need a Life Coach?

If you are considering investing in a life coach there there are a few questions you can ask yourself to make sure it’s the right thing for you to do.

  • Do you feel you have an unhealthy work/ life balance?
  • Are you thinking of changing your job or career?
  • Are you feeling that your health, family, relationships, and social life are being affected by your career?
  • Do you constantly find yourself stretched too thin and looking after others at the expense of your own wellbeing?
  • Can you say with total honesty that you are living the life you want to live?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the chances are life coaching is exactly what you need.

What does a life coach do?

We all need a little bit of help from time to time, and that’s really all coaching is.

Helping people to bridge the gap from where they are right now, to where they want to be.

Working with a Life Coach enables you to take time out in a safe and supported environment to identify what you want. This time allows you to focus on both your personal and professional development.
